A Felted Twist on the Tree of Life

A Felted Twist on the Tree of Life was inspired by the artist Gustav Klimt who always added a bird to his trees. For this large piece, I first created a welt felted backing and then used alpaca, sheep, and mohair to bring it to life. This truly unique and heartfelt creation captures the essence of nature and artistry, meticulously crafted for those who appreciate fine textile design. What a Hoot!
