Across the Way

There is something wonderfully familiar about Across the Way—an old cottage tucked into the landscape, flowers growing happily at its feet, a weathered fence wandering toward the water, and one of those wonderfully dramatic skies that seems to have a personality all its own. Created with layers of natural fiber, the little house feels as though it has been standing there for generations, quietly watching the landscape change around it.

This piece is part of a unique series of four individual fiber paintings designed to hang side by side and form a single panoramic view. Each painting tells its own small story, but together they invite your eye to travel Across the Garden, Across the Way, Across the Pasture, and finally Across the Bay.
