Beyond the Garden

Beyond the Garden invites the viewer past a cottage and its overflowing flowers toward rolling green hills and a distant blue horizon. Bright touches of rose, orange, gold, and violet enliven the garden, while layered blues and soft whites create a breezy, expansive sky. The tapestry moves naturally from intimate foreground details to the promise of the landscape beyond. Hung from weathered natural wood and finished with a lively green-and-gold fringe, this 14-inch fiber tapestry evokes curiosity, possibility, and the pleasure of seeing what lies just beyond the familiar.
