Breaking Light

Breaking Light is an expression of the moment when landscape and atmosphere seem to shift at once — when light begins to transform everything it touches. In this piece, I used layers of fiber to suggest open land, movement, and the quiet energy of changing skies. The strong bands of gold against the cooler blues and greens are meant to capture that fleeting, luminous moment when light breaks through and turns the ordinary into something radiant.
