Changing Ground

Changing Ground is a small landscape with a wonderfully big sense of movement. A brilliant blue sky swirls overhead while layers of green, rust, moss, teal, and lavender tumble across the land below, creating the feeling of a countryside shifting with the season—or perhaps simply changing with the light.

Created with sheep wool, alpaca, and other natural fibers, the painting is filled with loose curls, wisps, and unexpected touches of color that make the landscape feel wonderfully alive. There is no perfectly tidy field here; instead, the fibers wander, twist, and mingle just as nature does.
