Early Snow

Early Snow... Winter seems to have arrived before the landscape was quite ready. Soft white drifts settle among violet hills, while little traces of green and rust peek through as if autumn still has something to say. Wispy fibers carry that lovely hush of a first snowfall, when familiar places suddenly look a little enchanted. A distressed, gold-toned frame adds warmth to the chilly day.
