Garden Gathering

In Garden Gathering, softly curled locks and richly layered fibers come together like flowers collected from a flourishing garden. Lavender, violet, golden yellow, fresh green, and warm rust form abundant clusters, each with its own texture, shape, and personality.
Needle-felted directly onto linen, the composition allows portions of the woven surface to remain visible, creating a beautiful contrast between the delicate background and the dimensional fiber. Unlike many of EmBee’s recent works, Garden Gathering is surrounded by a generous white mat before being finished in a lightly textured white frame. The clean presentation gives the colorful arrangement room to breathe while highlighting its organic movement, intricate detail, and joyful sense of abundance.
