Lush Garden

Lush Garden is what happens when the flowers stop behaving and decide to take over.

Big, bold blossoms in orange, red, plum, peach, and gold push their way through a tangle of curling greens, twisting stems, and wonderfully unruly locks of fiber. Some flowers seem to be showing off, others are peeking from behind their neighbors, and the whole garden feels as though it has been happily growing in every direction at once.

Created with natural and hand-dyed fibers, Lush Garden celebrates texture as much as color. Curly locks and soft wisps give the flowers and foliage a lively, almost three-dimensional quality, making the piece feel less like a tidy garden and more like one caught at the very moment it has decided to become gloriously overgrown.

Mounted in a rustic barnwood frame, the weathered wood brings an earthy simplicity to all that exuberant color and texture.

Joyful, abundant, and just a little unruly, Lush Garden is a celebration of the kind of garden that clearly has no intention of staying inside the lines.
