Riverbend

In Riverbend, a ribbon of blue winds quietly through an exuberant landscape of tangled greens, warm oranges, deep reds, and soft earth tones. Overhead, pale clouds drift through a blue sky touched with hints of lavender, while below, the fibers twist and curl into hills, grasses, wild growth, and the suggestion of water finding its own way through the countryside.

The beauty of this piece is in its looseness—nothing feels overly arranged or perfectly behaved. Created from layers of richly textured natural fibers and finished in a rustic wood frame, Riverbend feels like one of those hidden stretches of countryside you discover accidentally and immediately want to remember.
