Salt Marsh Cottage

Salt Marsh Cottage has found a lovely place to hide, with the sea at its doorstep and the clouds happily keeping it company.

A little white cottage with a dark roof and tiny chimney sits beside blue-green water, surrounded by mossy greens, golden grasses, and touches of rusty brown. Wisps of fiber drift across the sky, while curls and tangles gather along the shoreline as though the marsh has been busy growing wherever it pleases. Gray rocks peek through the water, giving the eye a few places to pause before wandering off toward the cottage again.

A broad, rustic wooden frame in warm, weathered tan surrounds the scene. Its sloping inner edges, visible grain, and knots feel right at home beside this untidy little stretch of coast.

You can almost imagine the kettle going on inside. Surely there is time to stay awhile.
