Seaglass Morning

“Seaglass Morning” captures the quiet shimmer of a coastal morning, where turquoise waters, soft clouds, shoreline grasses, and a small cottage come together in a peaceful panoramic landscape. EmBee began this piece by creating the fiber canvas through wet felting, building a soft, atmospheric foundation of natural texture and color. She then added exquisite detail and depth through needle felting, layering fibers to shape the movement of the sea, the changing sky, the rocky shore, and the blooming coastal foreground.
The result is a richly textured fiber painting with the luminous quality of sea glass — soft, weathered, and full of shifting blue-green light. Set against linen and framed in white, “Seaglass Morning” feels fresh, airy, and deeply connected to the beauty of the shoreline.
