Soft Terrain

Soft Terrain is a little landscape with a wonderfully untamed spirit. A deep blue sky rolls above layers of teal, green, moss, violet, and bright touches of color, while curls and wisps of natural fiber create the feeling of fields and hills moving gently toward the horizon.

Created with sheep wool, alpaca, and other natural fibers, the piece is full of texture and tiny surprises—the sort of landscape that seems to shift the longer you look at it. Nothing feels too neat or too planned; the fibers are allowed to wander, curl, and mingle just as the land itself might.

Set within a beautifully rustic natural-wood frame, Soft Terrain feels like a small window onto a place that is part meadow, part memory, and entirely EmBee.
