Violet Passage

Violet Passage invites you to follow the hills a little farther than you meant to. Something lovely may lie just beyond the next purple ridge.

Layers of violet, lavender, and deep plum roll beneath an airy blue sky, where soft white and gray clouds appear to be taking their time. Below, teal and mossy green mingle with earthy brown, while little curls of peach, gold, and purple spring up in the foreground. The loose fibers give the landscape a dreamy, wandering quality, with something new to notice wherever your eye decides to go.

The piece is nestled in a broad, rustic wooden frame with weathered sandy-tan and gray-brown tones. Its textured grain and sloping inner border make a warm, earthy companion to all those cool, faraway colors.

A peaceful little escape for anyone whose imagination occasionally wanders off without asking.
