Where Winter Settles

A brilliant red farmhouse rests beneath the bare branches of an old tree in Where Winter Settles. Snow blankets the roof and surrounding ground, while a softly layered sky of lavender, blue, gold, and winter gray brings quiet warmth to the scene. The richly worked fibers give the tree, house, and snow a wonderful sense of dimension. Hung from natural wood and finished with a soft ivory fringe, this 14-inch fiber tapestry captures the stillness and shelter of a New England winter.
