Winter Sheep

Apparently, winter is a lot easier when you’re wearing the landscape. Winter Sheep captures a small flock nestled into a snowy pasture, their wonderfully textured coats created with actual sheep fiber—making this wool painting quite literally sheep-made from sheep. Soft curls of natural fiber bring each little character to life against a wintry backdrop of bare trees, distant fencing, and a hint of golden light breaking through the cold. Finished in a rustic wood frame, Winter Sheep is warm, whimsical, and just a bit cheeky—a cozy celebration of the animals behind the art.
